This notice explains how The Billing Hub Limited handles personal information when you visit or use Offerswoop, create or use an account, view or reveal an offer, take part in a promotion, contact us, or follow a link to a retailer.

    Offerswoop is a brand and service operated by The Billing Hub Limited. We are the controller of personal information described in this notice, which means we decide why and how it is used.

  2. Personal information we may collect

    The information we collect depends on how you use Offerswoop and the features available to you. It may include:

    • Account and identity information, such as your name, username, email address, account identifiers, age or eligibility information where requested, and account status.
    • Payment and subscription information, such as plan, price, payment dates, transaction references, renewal or cancellation status, and payment success or failure. Payments may be processed by PayPal. We may receive payment and subscription status information from PayPal; payment information is also handled under PayPal’s own privacy notice.
    • Offer and usage information, such as offers or pages viewed, codes revealed, searches, clicks, referrals to retailers, promotion entries, feedback, and preferences. Referral or affiliate links may include a code or identifier that records that you arrived at a retailer from Offerswoop.
    • Technical and device information, such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location derived from technical information, log data, cookie identifiers, and information about how the site is used.
    • Communications information, such as the contents of messages you send to support@offerswoop.com, complaint details, and our replies.
    • Marketing choices, such as whether you have opted in or out, your communication preferences, and records needed to respect those choices.

    We do not ask you to provide special category information (such as health, political or religious information) to use the ordinary Offerswoop service. Please do not send us sensitive information unless it is necessary to explain a request.

    • Directly from you when you register, sign in, manage a subscription, view or reveal offers, enter a promotion, complete a form, or contact us.

    • From service providers that help operate the service, including payment providers such as PayPal, hosting, security, analytics, email or customer support providers, where those providers are used.
    • From retailers, affiliate networks or other partners when you follow an offer link or when they report referral, click or commission information to us.
    • From public or other lawful sources where necessary to prevent fraud, protect the service, or meet a legal obligation.

  4. Why we use information and our lawful bases

    We use personal information only where a lawful basis applies. The basis depends on the specific activity:

    If we need information to provide a feature or perform a contract, we will explain this when we ask for it. If you do not provide required information, we may be unable to create your account, process a subscription, administer an entry, or respond fully to your request.

    • Promotion partners, where a promotion’s rules and privacy information explain that sharing is needed to run it or deliver a prize.
    • Our professional advisers, auditors, insurers, banks and payment providers where reasonably required for their services.
    • Law enforcement, courts, regulators, tax authorities or other public bodies where we must do so by law or where disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect rights, users or the service.
    • A buyer or successor if we sell, transfer or reorganise all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection safeguards.

    Our service providers may process information on our instructions and must protect it. Retailers and other third- party websites you visit through an Offerswoop link operate independently and may act as separate controllers. Once you leave our site, their privacy notices and practices apply. We do not control them.

  7. International transfers

    Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Before any restricted transfer, we will ensure it is covered by a UK adequacy regulation, an appropriate safeguard such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism.   8. How long we keep information

    We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes explained in this notice, including to provide the service, deal with queries, maintain appropriate business and financial records, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by record type. For example, account information is generally kept while an account is active and for a limited period after closure; payment and accounting records may need to be retained for the period required by law; and marketing suppression information is kept for as long as needed to ensure we honour an opt-out.

    We periodically review what we hold and securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed. The precise retention periods for each category are being confirmed as part of our service launch review.

  9. Cookies and similar technologies

    Offerswoop and providers acting for us may use cookies or similar technologies to keep the site working, remember choices, understand how the service is used, measure referrals, and—if enabled—support advertising. Non- essential technologies will be used only in accordance with applicable law and the choices made through the site’s consent controls. You can revisit those controls using the cookie settings link on the website. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may affect site functions.

  10. Your data protection rights

    Depending on the circumstances and subject to legal conditions, you may have the right to request access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, or to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it was withdrawn. You can also object at any time to direct marketing.

    You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first, but you are not required to contact us before complaining.

    We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. Access is limited to people and providers who need it for their work and are subject to confidentiality obligations. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

    Offerswoop is not intended for anyone who is not eligible to use the relevant account, offer or promotion under the age and eligibility requirements shown on the site and in the applicable terms. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from people who are not eligible. If you believe an ineligible person has provided information to us, contact support@offerswoop.com.

    Offerswoop links to retailers and other third-party websites. Their websites may collect information about you, use their own cookies or similar technologies, and have their own privacy notices. We recommend checking those notices before providing information or making a purchase. This notice applies to Offerswoop and does not cover those third-party sites.

  14. Changes to this notice

    We may update this notice to reflect changes to Offerswoop, our providers, our processing or the law. We will publish the current version here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention before the new use begins where required.
